Support the Sportsman’s Alliance for Alaska
The Sportsman’s Alliance for Alaska (SAA) relies on thousands of individuals, foundations and businesses for partnership in the conservation and enhancement of Alaska’s incomparable wild lands and the bountiful fish and game resources they support. Each and every action taken and contribution made is vital to SAA’s success. Alaska’s future depends on your support and participation.
The SAA is the only conservation entity whose sole focus is to engage hunters and anglers from across the country in management decisions affecting Alaska’s public lands and your opportunity to hunt and/or fish on them.

The SAA has had a presence at sporting shows and conferences from coast to coast, meeting sportsmen and women and discussing the wealth of hunting and angling opportunities in Alaska. Due to the efforts of the SAA, national, state and local sporting conservation organizations and thousands of their members have taken action to protect the best remaining fish and game habitats in southeast Alaska’s Tongass National Forest and southwest Alaska’s Bristol Bay. To date, SAA has been a pivotal player in attracting over 140 sportsman’s groups representing hundreds of thousands of members to speak out for protecting Alaska. SAA has also recruited nearly 100 companies in the sport fishing industry to ask for protection for Bristol Bay’s fishery.
The SAA has also helped organize and participate in field trips to Alaska’s public lands. Leaders of national hunting and angling organizations and members of the outdoor media have visited the Tongass National Forest and the Bristol Bay region to learn more about the issues facing these lands, and they have helped raise the profile of these conservation campaigns nationwide.
